Abstract: A party formation emerged in Algeria after the issuance of the law of February 4, 1919 with different orientation programs, led by party leaders including Farhat Abbas, Messali al Hadj, Ben Jelloul, Ammar Ouzgan and others. The Second World War had an impact on the situation in Algeria and there was a kind of rapprochement between the parties with the issuance of the statement and the movement of lovers of the statement and freedom, and cohesion increased after the massacres of May 1945, when the elections stations 1945-1951, which attracted parties under new names of the MTLD and UDMA party, as the confrontation remained in the election stations of 4-11 April 1948 / 17 October 1947 / 17 June 1951 with electoral programs in the face of the French administration, which gave the currents of the national movement crumbs of votes and sought its policy to exclude the Algerian presence by deliberate fraud And acts of sabotage and persecution, where the national parties, led by the Association of Muslim Scholars, denounced and united in the National Front for the Defense and Respect of Freedom in August 1951
