Abstract: The study scrutinizes the nature of the relationship between the perception of organizational justice and functional alienation among a sample of human resources in public institutions in Algeria (services, industrial), and the study of the potential impact of each of gender, age, seniority, and type of the organization’s activity on the relationship between the organizational justice and functional alienation. The research design implemented in this study was descriptive-correlational-comparative, and the “organizational justice” and the “functional alienation” scales were the main research tools. The research sample was 298 employees selected randomly out of a population of 900 individuals, and the study was subjected to different statistical methods, like; percentages, Pearson Correlation coefficient, T-test, and one-way ANOVA test. The study revealed the following findings: 1. There is an average inverse correlation between the perception of organizational justice and functional alienation. 2. There is a weak inverse correlation between the perception of distributive justice and functional alienation. 3. There is an average inverse correlation between the perception of procedural justice and functional alienation. 4. There is a weak inverse correlation between the perception of justice of transactions and functional alienation. 5. There are no significant statistical differences in the perception of organizational justice in relation with gender. 6. There are significant statistical differences in the perception of organizational justice in relation with age from 30-35 years old. 7. There are no significant statistical differences in the perception of organizational justice in relation with seniority. 8. There are no significant statistical differences in the perception of organizational justice in relation with the type of the organization’s activity 9. There are no significant statistical differences in the perception of functional alienation in relation with gender. 10. There are significant statistical differences in the perception of functional alienation in relation with age under 30 years old. 11. There are no significant statistical differences in the perception of functional alienation in relation with seniority. 12. There are significant statistical differences in the perception of functional alienation in relation with the type of the organization’s activity.
