Abstract

This study aimed to identify the attitudes of the executives of Biskra state institutions (Directorate of Commerce, Directorate of Energy, and Waste Agency) towards the prevailing level of implementation of sustainable development goals, in addition to knowing the reality of the importance of sustainable development in them. Where the target study population consists of the executives of the institution, where an interview was conducted with the executives during several field visits, from which answers to the majority of the questions raised were valid for analysis to be analyzed using the descriptive analytical method. The study found a number of results, the most important of which are: The level of interest of the institutions under study in the goals of sustainable development was low, according to the criteria of the study. It also showed the presence of sustainable development in its various dimensions in the institutions under study, and through the findings of the study, some suggestions were presented, the most important of which are: Institutions must focus on implementing the goals of sustainable development as one of the most important strategies that help them achieve their goals. - Promoting the culture of sustainable development in all its dimensions through attention and keenness to generate and apply it. - Attempting to carry out training courses for workers to accompany the developments taking place.
