Abstract

This study aimed to identify the impact of investments by venture capital companies in promoting the food manufacturing sector. Before entering the applied aspect of the study, the conceptual framework of the venture capital technique in general, venture capital companies in particular and presented the food industry sector, in addition to the concept investment. Through two theoretical chapters as a prelude to the study, and from there we developed a standard model using the autoregressive distributed lag gap (ARDL) model using the Eviews 12 program in order to clarify the effect of the independent variable on venture capital companies, which contains two main stages (one stage before the emergence of the law on venture capital in... Algeria and the stage after the emergence of the law on capital in risk), with the dependent variable, which is the food industry sector. In order to answer the questions of the study and achieve its objectives, an analytical study was carried out with three companies active in the food industry sector financed by venture capital companies, through the analysis of the situation of these companies before the entry of venture capital companies, during their presence, and after their exit from joint stock companies, by analyzing the impact on the financial indicators of these companies, The results of the study noted a positive impact of the presence of long-term venture capital companies in the promotion of the food industry sector in Algeria, The results also recorded a positive development in the financial indicators of the companies studied.
