Abstract: There are a big variety of magnetic levitation systems. Electrodynamic levitation systems are based on the generation of eddy current to produce the repulsive forces. The study of dynamic behavior of such systems is related to the analysis of coupled electromagnetic-mechanical phenomena and the development of a meshing technique for taking into account the movement of the levitate part. In this context, a computer code under Matlab environment was developed and validate by experimental results. A fuzzy logic controller is also designed and implemented to control the position of the levitated piece. In other words, it is about the coupling of FVMfuzzy logic methodologies.
