Abstract: This research is an investigation on the role of educational psychology in the teaching process within EFL classrooms. Educational psychology is considered as important elements for training and providing teachers with the basic psychological principles of the nature of teaching. Thus, in this research, we try to shed light on the most crucial theories and strategies of teaching that are provided by the educational psychologists. We also try to investigate the importance of teaching the module of psychopedagogy and the role of technology in the teaching learning process. In this research, we investigate and check the attitude of both teachers and students towards the role of educational psychology and the importance of the module of psychopedagogy in the teaching learning process. It is by the means of teachers’ interview and students’ questionnaire that we investigate the importance of psychopedagogy and other issues which concern the subject matter. The results from analyzing the interviews and questionnaire have to reveal that both of the teachers and students are aware about the role of educational psychology and its theories in the teaching learning process. The present dissertation aims at helping the teachers to be knowledgeable with the theories and strategies of educational psychology that may help them in their way of teaching.
