APPROCHE METHODOLOGIQUE D’EVALUATION DE LA POLITIQUE DE GESTION DE L’EAU DES ZONES HUMIDES CAS DU CHOTT CHERGUI (SUD-OUEST ALGERIEN)

Abstract

RÉSUMÉ La zone humide de Chott Chergui d’Ain Skhouna, située sur les hautes plaines steppiques Sud Oranaises, à 70 km au sud de la ville de Saida, est un écosystème spécifique et riche en ressources naturelles (eau, avifaune, végétation) où la protection de l’environnement est plus que nécessaire. L’objectif de cet article est de tester l’opérationnalité d’un système d’information géographique pour la protection d’une zone humide classée par la convention de Ramsar. L’intégration des données multi-sources dans un SIG nous a permis de construire une base de données cartographique pour la gestion de cette zone humide.ABSTRACT The Wetland of Chott Chergui (area of Ain Skhouna), located on the high steppe plains south of Oran, 70 km south of the town of Saida a specific and rich system by water birds and vegetation, where the protection of environment is more than necessary. The aim of this paper is testing the function of a geographic information system for the protection of a wetland classified by the Ramsar convention. The integration of multi-sources data in a geographic information system (GIS) enables this wetland management.
