| Abstract: | The aim of our work is to describe main steps of surface water treatment of Azzaba treatment plant in wilaya of Skikda and to follow water quality of Zit El Emba dam. After a brief statement on location of dam and treatment plant as well as climatic data, steps of treatment chain are described. Sampling,analysis methods and chlorination test are also described. Obtained results show an average physico-chemical quality with somewhat great organic pollution. High chlorine consumptions can be explained by presence of some reactive substances in water. |
