The work of the present study is aimed at determining the physical and chemical parameters of the wastewater or the effluent, at inlet and outlet of the treatment plant from Médéa. The values of some physico-chemical parameters were decreased in the ratio of biochemical oxygen demand 97.22%, chemical oxygen demand 92.44%, ammonia 97.67%, total suspended matter 97.61% and orthophosphates 76.06%. However, the results indicated that the treatment plants had a significant role in the control of pollution load from organic and inorganic pollution.en_US
