Abstract

Abstract: This essay trays to give an idea about linguistic functions , this idea was studied by different schools , and theoreticians whose objective are communicating and reporting to affect receiver , The most prominent function of warming with its specific language form which help to warm the interlocutor. This study helps in analyzing the function of warming in “ the commandment of luqman to his son “ according to the communicative theory in accordance with pragmatics .
