Abstract: Abstract The aim of this study is to identify the role teachers’ feedback on improving students writing proficiency competence. Moreover, to affirm whether it is an effective factor that motivate students to improve their writings. To achieve this aim, this research is based on the descriptive method and questionnaire for both teachers of written expression (W E) and third year students are considered the basic source of the collected data. This study takes place at Mohamed Khider university of Biskra and deals with third year LMD students. However, hypothesis that the teachers’ feedback improve and motivate students’ writing competence is confirmed through the result collected from the questionnaires of this research. Furthermore, the results obtained suggested that by the effective role of teachers’ feedback; students could write more effectively. Finally, teachers should because about the ways and strategies when they provide their feedback in a way that motivate them and make them write more spontaneously without making too much conscious efforts. On the other hand, students should accept their teachers’ guidance.
