Abstract

Summary : Islamic law has introduced a number of measures to establish the proportions of unknown persons. The Algerian legislature, in accordance with the amendment to the Algerian Family Code of 2005, added modern scientific methods to the means of proving descent. It has also adopted these methods. I studied the authority of these scientific methods, as well as the authority of the judge to adopt them, the obstacles we face when applying them, their place in Islamic law and Algerian legislation
