Abstract

The study title: The diversity of the financial resources and its role in facing the financial challenges of the sports clubs. (A field study of some professional Algerian clubs for the first and second national football division)  The aim of study: To identify the importance of professional competence, in the field of financial management, in order to face the financial challenges, and the necessity to be equipped by proper sports installations. To show the important role of processes of exploiting sports marketing, which is considered as an important source of funding and incomes. To highlight the importance of investment and care in providing financial alternatives.  The Problematic study: Does the diversifications in financial sources have a role in facing the financial challenges and needs of sports clubs ?  The study's hypothesis: The diversification of the financing sources has an important role at facing financial challenges of the sport's clubs. Practical and field procedures of the current study: -the researcher has made an exploratory study to collect the previous and similar studies which treated already the same topic ,adding to that ;the researcher was mobilizing to some sports educational institutes, to make sure the necessary references that may help him in his study ,are available also he has made meetings and has contacted some managers and presidents of some sports clubs, and worked on trying to understand financing sources and methods of those clubs, and how to attract sponsors and investors for clubs, and what are theirs financial challenges, and obstacles that are fronting the sport's clubs, after that; preparing a special questionnaire with the presidents of the clubs in order to unveil on how to diversify financing sources.  Spatial and time era: We have made our study on professional Algerian sports clubs of football from first and second division and took us three (03) years from 2016 to 2019 and concerned some presidents of football professional clubs.  The most important results: -Sport's clubs could attract new financial sources in order to face the financial challenges that are fronting. -The financial management and politics that most of sport's clubs are leading is not helping at any way to face the financial challenges and needs. -Sports clubs are suffering from lack of sports installations and equipments, which is negatively affecting on their financial management. -Most of those sports clubs are unfortunately neglecting the importance of marketing and its positive impact on providing financial incomes for the club. -Most of sport's clubs do not accomplish the necessary conditions and incentives to stimulate new parts to do investments via those clubs.  Some suggestions: -To unveil on financial problems and leading the sports clubs to a rational financial management and correcting their fails. -Attribution of management task of clubs to good managers chosen according to their qualifications, potentials, and make sure to keep them updated periodically. -Supporting sports clubs, by constructing new stadiums and equipment’s; in order to encourage them to provide their own financial incomes without counting on government aids only. -The sport's clubs have to follow new methods to provide the necessary financial support, through sport sponsoring or broadcasting matches on air. -Augmentation of media coverage of sports events and opening new sports channels. -The exploitation of sports marketing, to provide the right financial support for sports clubs. -Organizing special sections, to study sports clubs market, in order to encourage them to count on marketing.
