Title: Lumière naturelle et enseignement de l’architecture Cas du système LMD
Authors: Imen, KABA
Issue Date: 19-Jun-2012
Abstract: This study would put the problem of environmental dimension in architecture, taking into account the new reforms of higher education in Algeria, that is to say, LMD system. From a set of environment dimensions natural light had been selected as the subject of this study, because of the advantages that would present if it is well integrated in the architecture from the early stages of design. The field of psychology has enriched this research. In fact thanks to the process “sensation, perception, behavior” a similar parallel process was created and that would be applied to the field of architecture teaching, that is to say, the process “knowledge, evaluation, creation”. This parallel between: stapes of apprenticeship and methods of teaching constitute conceptual model that is the skeleton of this research and that structure its theoretical and practical parts. The suggested process “knowledge, evaluation, creation” is implemented through an experimental approach. The later is done following two paths and tree phases. Two groups receive an education on the subject of natural light, but according to different manners: the first use classical methods and the second follow the suggested process by this research. This education is done in tree steps throughout different methods according to the suitable process. The thesis is devised into two parts, the first one gather theoretical chapters that cope with the state of architecture teaching and explain the construction of the process “knowledge, evaluation, creation” on the grounds of the one of “sensation, perception, behavior”. The second one encompass the practical chapters witch present experiments undertaken, their results and their interpretations.
