Abstract

Crime is one of the most common social phenomena in societies, as the Algerian society in general and the diabetic community in particular has become suffering from this phenomenon, which has taken a dangerous turn and threatens its social structures. And identifying its factors and causes, as well as its effects on cities. The study was discussed in the light of the main question: What are the repercussions of crime in the city’s society? The study discussed crime as a social phenomenon that has many effects on the city, using the descriptive analytical approach that describes the phenomenon) and applied to a sample of 60 families. The study reached results that show the spread of many crimes such as theft and drugs in urban areas, which have become reflected in the lives of individuals.
