Abstract

The current study is conducted about the problem of inheritance and the real estate dispute in the city for a sample of individuals who suffer from this problem in the state of Biskra. Through this study, the following main questions was asked: - what are the implications of the legacy problem on the real estate dispute? the main question includes the following sub-questions: How does the inheritance problem contribute to creating a real estate dispute? - What are the implications of the problem of inheritance, conflict and real estate dispute for urban renewal? In this study, descriptive approach was followed because it is suitable for the nature of the current study. Questionnaire and interviews with notes were used as data collection tools. These tools were applied to a convenience sampling consisting of 40 families. The results of this study revealed that the problem of inheritance leads to real estate dispute, through the conflicts that left by inheritance such as the lack of understanding by family members of the division of the inheritance, its sale, or its non-exploitation.
