Abstract

We decided that our research under the title "The structure of the character in Madame Bovary's novel by Gustave Flaubert" This research came after we were briefed on the overwhelming noise caused by this novel in the middle of French society as well as the new literary creativity produced by the so-called realism in the novel, the study has contained an entrance entitled "Adjust concepts" and two applied chapters: Chapter One: The objective dimensions of the character in the novel: where it says the physical dimension (body and soul in the character of the heroine), the social dimension (analysis of social conditions with the aim of reaching the bourgeoisie) and the psychological dimension (psychological): psychoanalysis of the character Emma in her life stages. The second chapter is entitled "The Relationship of the Character with Other Narrative Structures": In this chapter, we talked about the relationship of the character with space and time due to the importance that these structures carry in the success of the novel work and the relationship of the character to the event, which ranges from contraction and extroversion to the psyche of the heroine. We concluded our research with the most important results obtained through our analysis of the structure of the main character of the novel in all its aspects
