Abstract: The colloquial dialect is a social linguistic phenomenon that is widely spread in the education sector, especially among young students, as it is the language they have in daily life. We tried in this study entitled "The impact of colloquial understanding of the written in the primary phase of the fourth year of primary school helped Makhlouf as a model" follow a plan represented in two chapters The first chapter includes the control of terms and concepts where we touched on the concept of colloquial dialect in addition to determining what the understanding of the written The second chapter is an applied aspect represented in a field study in the primary helped Makhlouf section of the fourth year of primary school and in the end we reached a conclusion represented in a number of results, including : - Colloquial affects the understanding of the written in the cognitive and linguistic balance of students, as it prevents them from formulating eloquent and sound sentences
