Abstract

Reading skill is one of the most important skills, as it is regarded as the gateway to learning in all fields. My study titled “Methods of Developing Reading Skills in the Primary Stage, School of Al-Khathria, Qasim Razeeq, and Ghazal Al-Arabi - as a Model-” aims to know the importance of teaching reading and the most important methods of developing it among primary school teachers. Because this stage is considered the cornerstone in the life of every student. My field study relied on a questionnaire containing a set of questions presented to teachers at this stage, and its most important findings were that the motivation and encouragement provided by the teacher, and the psychological support of the family are the most important methods of developing reading skill
