This research, called "The Aesthetics of Reception in Poetry of Youssef weghlissi", started from two important axes; The first dealt with the emergence of the reception theory, its philosophical and critical foundations, and its most important concepts, especially with "Yaws" and "Iser", who agreed on the importance of the reader in criticizing texts. The second axis applied the mechanisms of this modern critical theory to an Algerian poetic experience of the poet "Youssef weghlissi"; Therefore, applying this theory to this poetry showed the principle of interaction between the reader and the text; Therefore, the plan of this research is based on an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter dealt with the theoretical part of the reception, and the second chapter dealt with the collection of critical opinions about the poetic collection "taghribet djaafar attayar" in order to discover the "aesthetic distance" in it; the third chapter applied concepts of "Iser" to the first poetic collection "awjaae safssafa fi mawassim aliassar" in order to discover the common meaning between the reader and the text. This research was based on the method of "reading and receiving", as it reached results through meeting the reader with the two poetic groups that attracted him to them.en_US
