Abstract: Theinclusionoffractional-orderdynamicsinthestudyofnonlinearsystemshasbroadened ourunderstandingofcomplexbehaviors,suchasstability,chaosandbifurcations,andhas openedupnewpossibilitiesincontroltheory.Thesesystemsinvolvederivativesandintegrals ofnon-integerorder,introducinganewlevelof exibilityandversatilityinmodelingreal- worldphenomena.Thisthesisaimstostudythestabilityandbifurcationsinafractional orderchaoticsystemsandthecontrolofchaos.Toachieveourgoalweintroducedinthe rst towchaptersthenecessarybasicnotionssuchas:fractionalderivation,chaostheory,stability offractionalsystemsandbifurcationtheory.Themainresultsofthisthesisarepresented inthelasttowchapterswherewegavethenecessaryandsu¢cientconditionsforstability, weshowedtheexistenceofHopfbifurcationsinbothcases:integerandfractionalalsowe provedthee¤ectoffractionalorderinthecriticalpointlocationofHopf sbifurcationpoints, stabilityandchaoscontrol.
