The success of modern organizations depends on the leadership style used in managing organizational change. In order to identify the most appropriate modern leadership styles for managing organizational change, a review of relevant literature was conducted. Based on this review, the transformational and transactional leadership styles were selected to study their impact on managing organizational change in a cement company. To answer the research question, a sample of 114 employees was selected. To achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire was designed consisting of 37 items distributed across 9 domains, including structural change, technological change, user change, charismatic influence, inspirational motivation, encouragement, innovative attention, contingent management, and exception management. The researcher also justified the responses of the study participants using statistical software for social studies. The study found that the transformational and transactional leadership styles were present in the company to a low degree. Furthermore, the study showed that the success of the company depended on analyzing its traditional centralized leadership style and transitioning to a more practiced transformational leadership style for managing organizational change. This was among the recommendations presented in the study to revive the company and maintain its competitive positionen_US
