Abstract: | الملخص باللغةاإلنجليزية The study aims to investigate the precise application of intermittent training methodology in the field and its impact on the development of physiological capacities (maximal oxygen consumption and maximal air speed) among football players aged 17 and under. The experimental method was chosen for its suitability to the study's nature. A training program was tailored based on a control group comprising 10 football players under 17 from the Toulka Youth Academy Club, and another 10 from the Toulka Sporting Club. These players were selected randomly. Following statistical analysis and processing, the study revealed the following results: There were no statistically significant differences between the control and experimental groups in pre-training physical and physiological measurements. However, significant differences were observed between pre- and post-training measurements, favoring the post-training group. Additionally, the control group did not show significant improvements in endurance and the measured indices, whereas the experimental group demonstrated significant improvements. These findings suggest that intermittent training could be an effective method for enhancing physical and physiological attributes among young football players |
