Abstract: The study aims to explore the contribution of quantitative management methods in improving competitive performance by testing a range of quantitative models, including linear programming, CPM networks, price elasticity, and Pareto and Ishikawa diagrams. To achieve the study's objectives, the constructionist approach was adopted, along with a case study of the Biskria Cement Company in Biskra. This involved conducting unstructured interviews with the company's managers and staff, in addition to observation and the analysis of relevant documents and information related to its activities. The study found that linear programming contributed to improving competitive performance through productivity and profitability. Price elasticity also contributed to competitive performance by enhancing productivity, profitability, and market share. Additionally, CPM networks played a role in improving competitive performance by increasing productivity and providing better cost control. However, the contribution of Pareto and Ishikawa diagrams to improving competitive performance was less than expected. The study also emphasized the need to integrate quantitative methods in resource management and decision-making, which helps add value to the company and enhances its competitive capacity. Furthermore, the company can expand its use of advanced quantitative methods supported by artificial intelligence to improve its performance and achieve sustainable growth.
