Abstract: The ATHYS software meets in a friendly environment and homogeneous set of spatialized hydrological models involving treatments hydro-climatic and geographic data, it allows us to apply a variety of distributed models and generate a time series of flows on Basic rainy observed after an automatic calibration parameters taken by default over known rains and flows, this in terms of hourly data, the results were compared with results from a HEC-HMS Global model. The study highlighted the performance of distributed models to generate flows calculated from observed rainfall. Two rural watersheds in eastern Algeria were the subject of this study, the watershed of Bouhamdene (wilaya of Guelma) and the watershed Kissir (wilaya of Jijel). Several models have been applied, the model combining CBS production function and the transfer function Lag&route, the model combining SCS production function and the transfer function Lag & geomorphological road model combining SCS production function and function Simple kinematic wave transfer and global model SCS (HEC-HMS). The model combines the SCS production function and the simple kinematic wave transfer function gave the best results for all events and for the two watersheds studied giving a Nash coefficient of 0.92 for Bouhamdene’s watershed and 0.96 for Kissir’s watershed.
