Abstract

This study deals with the reality of childhood social policy in Algeria. Its aim is to describe and analyze such a policy in order to specify its main weakness points and to suggest the appropriate solutions for them. The study showed that the Algerian government had done a lot for the Algerian children, but there are a lot of things still to do in order to satisfy their needs. In this context the study has proposed to those who concerned with the childhood social policy several recommendation which could help them to improve the strategy of such a policy at both levels, theory and practice.
