Influence du chromage sur les caractéristiques mécaniques d’un acier faiblement alliée de type (xc100)traité

Abstract

The objective of this work is the study of the effect of chromium plating on the mechanical and structural characteristics of a low-alloy steel of the type (XC100) heat-treated (tempering, tempering and annealing) and followed by a surface treatment ( electrolytic polishing then a hard chromium plating). To carry out this work I am the technique of structural and mechanical cratering are realized, namely metallographic observations by optical microscope; .tensile tests, resilience tests and hardness measurements
