Abstract

The currentstudyaimed to reveal the possibility of sufferingfrom posttraumatic stress disorder in a traffic accident, by asking the following questionDoesa teenager whohad a traffic accident sufferfrom PTSD? To achievethis,werelied on the clinicalapproach as the mostappropriate for the topic, where the cases wereselectedintentionally as the studywithtwo adolescents had been involved in a traffic accident. A half-guidedclinical interview and a Davidson post-traumatic stress scalewerealsoused, with the resultsresulting in the study cases sufferingfrom PTSD.
