Abstract

The current study aims to find out the level of academic self-concept among students who are lagging behind in primary school, and the researcher tried to answer the following question in the study : _ What is the level of academic self-concept among students who are lagging behind in primary school ? The clinical approach was relied on in a case study method, and this study was applied to three cases of students who were lagging behind in the elementary school of Mohamed Grouf in Sidi Mesmoudi, Muzaira’a municipality, Biskra state, during the academic year (2022/2023 ( After applying the study tool represented by the text-oriented clinical interview and the academic self-concept measure, we concluded: The level of academic self-concept in the three cases is weak
