Abstract: | The current study aimed to reveal the relationship between academic self-efficacy and motivation for achievement among third secondary students, and the basic study sample consisted of (100) male and female students from all disciplines for the academic season (2022/2023) ، So that they were chosen in an intentional manner, and the validity and reliability of the two questionnaires were investigated by applying it to an exploratory sample of 30 male and female students. The researcher used the descriptive correlational method ، As for the tools of the study, it was represented in the measure of academic self-efficacy prepared by Oshish Al-Judi, and the measure of achievement motivation prepared by Ghormallah Abd Al-Razzaq Saleh, and in processing the results: Pearson correlation coefficient for calculating the validity of the study tools and the Wackerumbach coefficient to measure the stability of the study tools and the "T" (T.Teste) ، We used the SPPS 20 statistical package for social studies program to analyze the responses of the respondents, and the study reached the following results : Third year secondary students have a high level of academic self-efficacy. Third-year secondary students enjoy a high level of motivation for achievement. The existence of a correlation between the dimensions of academic self-efficacy and achievement motivation for third year secondary school students. |
