Abstract

Temporal permanence is considered one of the most significant topics in which the research gate remained open indefinitely due to the absence of a linguistic concept that reflects and matches that existing image in human awareness; however, this matter did not discourage the determination of some researchers and those preoccupied mainly innarratologyfield. For instance,authorsas Muhammed Muflah who showed his ingenuity in revealing the path of temporal permanence for characters of his novel (Al kafiyah and Al-washam/ Margins of the last journey) based on three techniques: retrieval, anticipation, and dreams.
