Abstract

It is known among scholars that they seek, in composing grammatical systems and their explanations, to achieve the educational goal of grammar by drawing paths that guarantee the infallibility of the tongue from error. However, this function is not independent of itself, We find references to the rational and deductive aspects that control grammatical theory, and this is the case of Ibn Malik Al-Andalusi in the chosencorpus, where he did not stop at describing the linguistic phenomenon, but rather went beyond it to employing the tools of reasoning, interpretation, likelihood, acceptance, and response by resorting to criteria starting from the text, and others from the implementation of the mind, that is, by judging the text, and this is through the rules of inference and their applications in Ibn Malik’s corpus.
