Abstract: The study, entitled: the correlation of emotional intelligence with Occupational Adjustment and academic self-efficacy of the University professor, a field study at Mohammed Khaidar University –BISKRA- A scientific study that is classified as descriptive correlative studies. It aims to reveal the correlation between emotional intelligence, professional compatibility and academic self-efficacy among the professors of Mohammed khaidar Biskra University. The study sample consisted of 227 Professors from all faculties of the University We have adopted as study tools both: 1-The Emotional Intelligence Scale prepared by Farouk al-Sayed Osman and Mohammed Abdul sameea Rizq (2001). 2. The self academic effectiveness scale prepared by Fadhil Muhsin Almayali .Abbas Noah Suliman AL-Mosawi (2011). 3-The professional compatibility scale is prepared by the researcher Ben Ghorbel Saida. After processing the study data, the following results were reached: 1-university professors have a high level of emotional intelligence. 2-university professors have a high level of professional Occupational Adjustment compatibility. 3-university professors have a high level of self academic effectiveness. 4-there is a positive correlation between emotional intelligence; professional compatibility and self academic effectiveness among the university professors.
